Nepali Leaders Network was founded on a simple belief: ambitious Nepalis shouldn’t have to grow alone.
This photo was taken at my cousin’s wedding. The exact day when the idea for Nepali Leaders Network was born.
Let me tell you how…

When I first arrived in Boston from Nepal in 2018, I was starting from scratch.
No established professional network. No mentors. No community to help me navigate life and career in the United States.
I watched friends from other diaspora communities thrive inside structured ecosystems that supported their growth, opened doors, and created belonging.
I kept wondering why we, as Nepalis, didn’t have something like that.
Here’s actually a picture I found from back then…

In November 2024, after graduating and starting my career, I organized a small networking mixer for Nepali students in Boston.
I wanted to create the community I once wished had existed: a space for ambitious Nepalis to meet, support each other, and grow together.

What started as one small mixer (check out the pic above!) grew into NSA Boston.
We hosted networking events, educational programs, leadership opportunities, and community initiatives — all designed to bring Nepalis together.
Within 0 months, we organized over 0 events, reaching more than 0 Nepalis across the U.S.
What began as one student mixer turned into a movement that started impacting lives.
You can hear their stories in their own words on our Testimonial Page, where members share both written and video experiences.

Now… remember that wedding story I mentioned earlier?
Let me tell you how it all came together.
As NSA Boston grew, I realized something important.
Social and cultural events brought people together. But there was an even greater need for a dedicated professional community — one focused on career growth, leadership, mentorship, and meaningful relationships.
That realization crystallized at my cousin’s wedding here in Massachusetts.
A family member who lived out of state turned to me and said…

“What you’ve created in Boston is incredible.
I just wish we had something like that where we live.
We have plenty of cultural events and parties,
but nothing that helps us grow professionally.”

That line stayed with me because it captured exactly what I had been sensing.
Through NSA Boston, we’d done it all.
Social events, cultural showcases, concert promotions, professional gatherings, and more.
But that night made me realize something deeper: people weren’t craving more events.
They were craving a space to talk about ambition, leadership, and growth — conversations we rarely have in our community.
So after that night, we decided to go all in on what truly mattered.
Rather than building a community for one city, we set out to become one trusted organization connecting ambitious Nepalis across cities.
And ultimately, across the world.
On January 21, 2026, NSA Boston was rebranded as the Nepali Leaders Network.
Today, professional networking mixers are our primary offering, but they are only the beginning.
Everything we build is guided by one mission: helping ambitious Nepalis connect, grow, and give back while building the world’s leading professional network for Nepalis.

Help ambitious Nepalis connect, grow, and give back.
Build the world's leading professional network for Nepalis.
